Driftway Cub Pack renew their promises in honour of the Cubs Centenary

This year has been special for Cub Packs around the world as we have been celebrating the Cubs Centenary. The Harwell scouts have made references to this in the activities we have done throughout the year. Special reference to this anniversary was made by the Drifway Pack (Wednesday night) in their final pack meeting of the year. Friday December 16th, marks 100 years to the day that the first Cub Scout promises were made. To mark this, like packs around the world, we all renewed our cub scout promise. We were especially fortunate to have two new cubs making their promises for the first time and a new assistant leader.

This past year has seen both cub packs going from strength to strength and we are all looking forward to joining cubs around the world in taking the cub movement forward.
