Hey!

After the excitement of yesterday, we decided to have a lazy morning to regain our energy. Some people went swimming in the river at the campsite, and we did lots of washing (including constructing the best washing line in the world)*.

After lunch we got back in the vans for a short drive to Vintgar Gorge. We walked above the river on paths and boardwalks, and took a lot of photos of the impressive waterfalls and views up and down the gorge. Zara took us on a detour via a random farmhouse and then we returned to camp for an early night! Long drive tomorrow, we’re leaving Slovenia and heading for Luxembourg.

*for those interested, this consisted of three trees, three ratchet straps, four slings, three karabiners, one D-shackle and one length of rope.
