Welcome to The Great Indoors Weekender 2020!
The UK Scout Association are organising a Virtual Camp, taking place over the 11th and 12th July 2020. Our Scout Leaders will then be running several other activities alongside these for our Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers!
The timetable for the weekend is listed below. Remember the only activity that you need to do to earn the badge is to sleep in your garden or indoor den – you can join in with as many of the other activities as you like!
You will find activity cards for each of the activities below which will explain how to complete it and suggests some possible adjustments if you don’t have all of the resources that you might need.
If it is an national activity, being run by The Scout Association, you will find the links to connect to their events on here. If the activity is a local one, being run by our Leaders, you will receive the link to join our Zoom meetings 15 minutes before the session.
Our team is available to help you, should you have any questions about how to complete an activity. You can either e-mail us here or contact us via ‘Badges at Home’ in Online Scout Manager.

GongFu Cha (or KungFu Tea) CeremonyThe GongFu Cha (or KungFu Tea) ceremony comes from Tibet, Nepal, and China. It dates back over 3,000 years, which makes it the oldest form of tea ceremony in the world, and remains largely unchanged. The aim of the GongFu Cha is to create a quiet, reflective space which is religiously neutral but spiritually engaging. There aren’t strict rules: you could discuss the flavour and type of tea or ask and reflect on life’s big questions. | ||||
