In July and August 2008 1st Harwell ESU travelled to Holland for 2 weeks to attend the Dutch National Jamboree in Eindhoven. The decision to go followed leaders from Harwell hosting a unit from Holland during the Home-Hospitality phase of the 2007 World Scout Jamboree in Essex.
