1st Harwell ESU is fundraising for an exciting international expedition. For all of our youth members, this will be their first experience of international scouting and it’s a great opportunity for them to not only represent 1st Harwell Scouts but also UK Scouting abroad this summer. We’re heading to Europe to explore cities, mountains and meet international Scouts.

We are teaming up with The Harwellian and joining in with their Coronation Celebrations to serve cream teas on Sunday 7th May at the Rec & Harwellian.

Eat-in Cream Tea (in the Harwellian)

Choose a time-slot and join us inside the Harwellian, where the Explorers will show you to your table and serve you a fresh cream tea with tea and coffee. Each time slot is 45 minutes, once you have finished your cream tea, you can move across to the additional seating in the Harwellian or move outside and enjoy the live music.

What’s included in the eat-in cream tea:

• Table Service

• Plain Scone, Jam, Clotted Cream

• Pot of Tea or Coffee

Takeaway Cream Tea (Collection from Pavilion)

Choose a time-slot to collect a takeaway cream tea. The Explorers will carefully pack your fresh cream tea in a box with a napkin and a bamboo knife, ready for you to enjoy on the Rec while listening to the live music.

What’s included in the takeaway cream tea:

• Plain Scone, Jam, Clotted Cream

• Eco-Friendly Takeaway Box, Napkin & Bamboo Knife

(Please note, a drink is not included in the takeaway cream tea – but the Harwellian has a wide selection of drinks on offer)
