Harwell Scouts Ceilidh 2026
Join us for an unforgettable evening of music, dancing, and delicious Swiss-inspired food! Experience the energy of Shady Groves String Band – grab your friends and try your hand at traditional ceilidh dancing. No experience needed, just bring your dancing shoes and a sense of fun!
Your ticket includes a hearty meal of tartiflette with fresh salad and crusty bread, followed by brownies & blondies for dessert.
A fully licensed cash bar will be open throughout the night, so you can enjoy a drink while soaking up the lively atmosphere.
With a raffle full of exciting prizes and a welcoming crowd, this is the perfect way to spend a Saturday evening while supporting a great cause.

Fundraising
Harwell Explorers are heading on an international expedition in summer 2026, road-tripping through Europe to visit Kandersteg International Scout Centre, Switzerland – the World Scout Centre.
This trip gives them the chance to gain independence, explore new cultures, try out alpine activities, make international Scout friends, and work toward their Chief Scout & King Scout Awards. By attending, you’re helping make this amazing experience possible.
Youth-Led Event
This is a youth-led event, planned and delivered by Harwell Explorers with Scout Leaders supporting behind the scenes. By attending, you’re helping young people build leadership skills, confidence, and real-world event experience.

We are catering for vegetarian and gluten-free diets as standard. If you have any other dietary requirements or allergies, please email the team in advance at [email protected] so we can advise.
Catering will be overseen by a Scout Leader who is a trained chef. We will do our utmost to minimise the risk of cross-contamination; however, please note that allergens will be present and handled in the kitchen, so we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.
