Exploding Water Melons!
In a recent attempt to include a more diverse range of activities in the explorer programme, the leaders came up with an activity inspired by a internet viral video. The video involves cutting a watermelon in half, using only the power of elastic bands.
Despite the huge mess that it created, the explorers enjoyed a great evening of melon exploding fun, which left interesting results when replayed in slow motion. Even still, the evening showed the force that lots of elastic bands used together can produce!!
