During the second weekend in September 1st Harwell (St. Matthew’s) Scout Group visited Earlywood campsite. The Beaver Scouts attended the County Beavers Funday in Oxford to celebrate 30 years of Beaver scouting.

Late afternoon on Saturday the Beavers travelled to Earlywood to join the group. After setting up sleepover beds and a film night the beavers had stories and went to bed. Sunday was a day of activities in group patrols which enabled all sections, beavers, cubs, Scouts and Explorers to worked together. A Scouts own started the day before scaling the heights of a monkey bridge built by the Explorers as well as engaging in challenges on various inflatable games.
