Space Camp
This year the County Beaver Camp was space themed!
All the Beavers arrived at the campsite near Banbury on the Friday evening. Saturday morning activities began, some of the activities included inflatable obstacle course, caving, go karting, planetarium, animals, moon sand, tasting astronaut food and much much more!!
Saturday evening our district, Thames Ridge had a campfire in our area of the campsite. We enjoyed campfire songs and s’mores. Some stayed up to see the International Space Station go over the campsite at 11pm, which was very interesting! Sunday morning there was a treasure hunt around the whole campsite, with lots of exciting prizes. Soon after, it was time to pack away all our tents away. At the closing ceremony the whole county sang some more campfire songs around the flagpole, which was a very fun way to finish a great weekend!!
